Chronic Fatigue

Crashes like waves,

Next moment I’m bound,

Creepin’ in, a haze,

Fog so thick it surrounds.

I’m trapped,

In this Bubble,

Collapsing,

Under the weight of the struggle.

Pulling me under,

Pushing me down,

Body feels so heavy,

I’m tied to the ground.

Thoughts on Slo-Mo,

Brain on Low Power,

Body doesn’t want to go,

I’m loosing control by the hour.

If I fight it,

I’ll only dig deeper,

Trying to survive it,

My levels are meager.

Keeping me down,

Like a rolling stampede,

This is what it’s like,

Living with Chronic Fatigue.
