To the mama who...

To the mama who helps take care of her adult child To the mama that has sat with her child through countless surgeries, doctor appointments and hospital admissions To the mama who threw up while your baby was crying for you on the other side of the door To the mama who is sipping on ginger ale instead of mimosas today To the mama who cried this morning because they wish they could be up and active with their child instead of stuck on the couch To the mama who worries if your chronic illness will ever hold your child back from fun adventures in the future To the mamas who is spending Mother’s Day hooked up to an IV instead of running around with your kids To the mama who is frustrated that your body can’t even give you a break on Mother’s Day To the mama who is so sick of being sick. Motherhood is hard. Motherhood when you or your child is sick is even harder. You were meant to be your child’s mama. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms out there!
