Water is Good

"What is the most important item in your invisible Wave survival kit?"

Most definitely my water bottle but not necessarily water...

As someone with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) I can get some pretty unpleasant palpations, dizziness and syncope because it causes low blood pressure. To help with this you need as much salt and liquid as possible to up your blood volume and pressure. Water doesn't work so well for me because it goes straight through me so my doctor wants me to have at least 50% of my liquid as "sticky or thick liquids" so now I'm drinking 1.5L of water a day and 1.5L of juice, oat milk, kombucha ect. Of course this means I have to be careful with calories but I'm definitely retaining more water!

So what do I need to drink these out of and cary with me wherever I go? My water bottle!

I'm surprisingly thankful for this piece of shaped metal I carry around with me, I'd struggle to function without it.

Hmm, my sister also has an issue with water going through her too fast. I’m going to have to mention the “sticky” liquids to her. Thank you for sharing this!! 🙏🏼
